Nora Rushford has been teaching Social Work Practice at Simmons for 7 years. She received her M.S.W. from Boston College in 1987 and has been affiliated with Walker Partnerships since 1986 where she currently serves as a Deputy Director. In her role with Walker Partnerships, she assists school systems throughout Massachusetts in special education evaluations, professional development of school personnel, student assessment, and parent consultation. She is also responsible for administrative and clinical oversight for social workers and behavior specialists who are assigned to various public schools through Walker Partnerships. She has presented at numerous conferences on topics related to clinical work with children and adolescents. In addition, Ms. Rushford maintains a private practice, working primarily with troubled adolescents.
