Kate Elliott graduated from Simmons SSW in 2002. Since that time she has worked in the state prison system as a clinician, supervisor, trainer, and administrator. Ms. Elliott has worked at women's and men's facilities and at medium and maximum security. She has extensive experience working with clients struggling with substance abuse, symptoms related to trauma, and depression. In addition to individual and group work with clients, she enjoys working with systems and thinking about how institutions function in society. She has supervised masters level students, new graduates, and experienced clinicians. She participates in the Simmons Field Advisory Board.
