Amanda Reed, M.S.W., LICSW

Amanda Reed has provided clinical services to adult clients and their families for over ten years in the Boston area. After graduating from Smith College School for Social Work in 2002, she worked on a Department of Mental Health-funded Assertive Community Treatment team at Cambridge Health Alliance, providing comprehensive, locally based clinical treatment to people living with persistent severe mental illness. She has also worked with adults coping with chronic medical illness, including patients receiving hemodialysis and most recently, as Senior Clinical Social Worker at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical in their liver transplant program. She supervised several interns during her time at BIDMC. Ms. Reed is currently working in private practice at Newton-Wellesley Psychiatry.
