Linda Puretz, M.S.W.

Linda Puretz has been a faculty advisor for the Simmons SSW since 2005. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Maryland. A practicing social worker for over 35 years, Ms. Puretz has worked in the fields of family service, medical social work, employee assistance, clinic mental health, geriatrics, and substance abuse, where she has experience with individuals, couples, families, and groups as well as advocacy work. She has also been a field instructor for social work students. She is currently in private practice and on the staff of a mental health clinic. In addition she provides private supervision to social work practitioners. Her affiliations include NASWand ABSW and she has a BCD in Clinical Social Work.
