Eileen received her M.S.W. from Boston University School of Social Work and is currently working on her doctoral dissertation at Simmons School of Social Work. Her dissertation research is focused on the psychological well-being of spousal caregivers of people with Parkinson’s Disease.
Eileen has more than thirty years of experience as a clinician, clinical supervisor, and program manager in a variety of settings (e.g. North Suffolk Mental Health Association, East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital). She has presented on a variety of mental health topics to many diverse community and professional groups, appeared as the mental health expert in an award-winning video on caregiving, and was one of ten national nominees for the 1999 Marie-Louise Ansak award – a geriatric-focused PACE program award. Eileen has also taught Advanced Clinical Practice as adjunct faculty at Simmons College School of Social Work and had an article published in 2008 in the Journal of Teaching in Social Work. She is currently working in part-time private practice in Brookline, MA.
