Jerry Juliano, M.S.W., LICSW

Jerry Juliano has worked for the Department of Mental Health for past 13 years as a clinical social worker on an inpatient setting providing forensic evaluations and treatment of adults suffering from mental illness. He is a clinical supervisor and coordinator of the graduate school of social work internship program. He provides training on engagement with clients with history of violence and trauma, and directs a program providing support to staff members who are victims of assault.

Mr. Juliano has experience working with children and adolescents as a therapist in private practice, and currently in a group practice in Littleton, MA. He has worked as a consultant at Tufts Medical Center – the Comprehensive Family Evaluation Center – serving as Guardian Ad Litem conducting court ordered evaluations addressing issues of child custody and visitation. In addition, he has provided psychiatric assessments in the emergency room at Newton Wellesley Hospital.

He received his M.S.W. from Boston College in 1997. He has supervised graduate social work students from Simmons College, Boston College, Boston University, and Salem State College. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Chapter of NASW. He has been a volunteer of the Red Cross Disaster Relief Team.
