BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
PROFESSOR DEBORAH KOLB’S best-selling book, Her Place at the Table: A Woman’s Guide to Negotiating Five Key Challenges to Leadership Success, teaches negotiation strategies for women in leadership roles at all levels of an organization.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR VIPIN GUPTA was coprincipal investigator of the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness project, a cross-cultural study of leadership styles and organizational performance that received the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s Scott Myers award for applied research in the workplace.
Faculty team CYNTHIA INGOLS and MARY SHAPIRO recently coauthored two books that integrate interview and career strategies with an understanding of gender and diversity nuances— Your Job Interview: An Easy, Smart Guide to Interview Success and Take Charge of Your Career.
PROFESSOR SUSAN HASS is a lead author and researcher on the Institute of Internal Auditors’ global study of internal audit practices, precipitated by company governance, compliance, and risk management issues.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR TERESA NELSON, an expert in global business, has taught on five continents, and travels frequently to China to study the emerging profile of business in that country.
