Erin M. DeCurtis joined Simmons School of Management as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Fall of 2012. She teaches the undergraduate "Introduction to Management and Principled Leadership" course and the graduate "Nonprofit Management" course. In addition to her work as an instructor, Ms. DeCurtis works as a Research Consultant for the Center for Gender in Organizations, focused on evaluating international NGO programming efforts aimed at improving gender equity in developing countries.
Ms. DeCurtis pursues a parallel research and education focus on entrepreneurship and social ventures. She recently developed an interactive 9-month curriculum for a women's entrepreneurship accelerator program at Babson College and works as a Research Assistant at the University of New Hampshire on faculty research focused on social entrepreneurship.
In conjunction with her research and teaching, Ms. DeCurtis serves as an Executive Search Consultant for Isaacson, Miller, a Boston-based firm that conducts executive searches for non-profit leadership in the United States and abroad.
