About Our Students
On average 200 students are enrolled in the Simmons MBA program. Approximately 20% of the MBA students are enrolled in the accelerated, full-time program and 80% are attending on a part-time basis.
The diversity of our student body defines the Simmons advantage. 22% of Simmons MBA students are ALANA (African American, Latina, Asian American, and Native American) and 8% are international. Their home countries include: Afghanistan, Argentina, China, Dominican Republic, Germany, Ghana, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kenya, Madagascar, Norway, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
Our students represent 113 undergraduate colleges and universities, and come from various
industries including high-tech, healthcare administration, medical services, financial services,
telecommunications, law, and education.
Our Fall 2011 class is described below:

- Average GMAT score is 521 (ranging up to 730)
Educational Background
- 62% hold undergraduate degrees in humanities, social sciences, and arts
- 38% hold undergraduate degrees in business, economics, and science

Employment Background
- 53% worked in for-profit organizations; 47% in not-for-profit organizations including government agencies.
