"Are Women Better Entrepreneurs?" visiting professor writes for Forbes

Simmons SOM Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship, Margaret Heffernan, contributed the article “Are Women Better Entrepreneurs?” in the June 27 edition of Forbes. Heffernan writes about the series of repeat successes from women across the country: “Every day, 420 women go out and start their own businesses — twice the rate at which men do so. And these businesses are growing revenue, profits and jobs faster than business as a whole.” Heffernan interviewed women to learn more about why they left the corporate track and decided to make their own rules.
