Prof. Kickul discusses issues on women entrepreneurship growth in NH

On March 30, Jill Kickul, Elizabeth J. McCandless Professor of Entrepreneurship participated in the Women’s Business Center’s and Business NH Magazine’s “New Hampshire Women Entrepreneur’s Roundtable” to explore the issues behind the weak growth rate of women-owned business in NH and the opportunities that exist to change. The discussion concentrated on uncovering key issues and opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the Granite State. Participants included members from economic development organizations, rural development, banking, venture capital/angel investors, women entrepreneurs and academia. The roundtable took place in Portsmouth, NH at Ocean National Bank.
