SOM in Boston Globe's series on mothers reentering the workplace

The Oct. 9 article, “New Programs Aim to Help Mothers Who are Looking to Reenter Workplace,” is the first of a two-part series addressing the trend of mothers coming back to the workplace after taking extended time off. Simmons School of Management was highlighted for its “daytime MBA program designed for mothers with school-age kids.” This part-time program allows for flexibility in balancing school, work and/or personal life responsibilities. The two-year day option is designed for women who may work part-time, run businesses that require them to work during the evenings or on weekends, or who have taken a leave from work to attend to family responsibilities.
