SOM appoints Susan Hass as new Associate Dean
Simmons School of Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Hass as Associate Dean. In this position, Hass will use her extensive faculty experience and strong administrative skills to focus on curriculum and faculty issues. Hass’s commitment to and passion for the SOM for more than 20 years make her extremely well-suited for the job.
Hass, a faculty member at the SOM since 1981, served as Chair of the Curriculum Committee for numerous years, and served as Co-Faculty Director of the MBA Program from 2004 - 2005. Hass currently focuses her research in the areas of enterprise-wide risk and performance measures. She has used her experience and knowledge in the field of accounting to author the seventh-edition of the Accounting Principles Workbook. Hass has also taught in several executive education programs including those at Simmons and the Hartford Graduate School.
