Jill Kickul nominated for the 2006 Pinnacle Awards

The SOM’s Dr. Jill Kickul, Elizabeth J. McCandless Professor of Entrepreneurship has been nominated for this year’s Pinnacle Awards, given by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Network, which honors business and professional women who have demonstrated excellence in entrepreneurship, management, and lifetime achievement. Winners will be announced in December 2005. The Pinnacle Awards will take place on January 26, 2006 at the Westin Copley. For more information on the event, please visit: Women’s Network

Kickul has helped develop and lead initiatives at Simmons including the creation and development of the MBA Certificate in Entrepreneurship Program. This program is designed specifically for female entrepreneurs. In the program, students learn how to apply skills for creating and sustaining venture that are profitable and competitive.
