SOM alunma featured in article about a new kind of professional
SOM alumna Stephanie Creary is featured in the Boston Globe article “Portfolio careerists revel in change” on February 28, 2008. The article talked about a new kind of professional: “The Portfolio Careerist,” or someone who has multiple careers often in different fields. Creary is quoted as saying “I never intended to do just one thing. I’ve always had multiple jobs for multiple interests. When you’re a kid, they always tell you to be well-rounded. Why all of a sudden when you become an adult you have to stop?” SOM faculty member Stacy Blake-Beard, who is Creary’s mentor, is pictured with Creary in the article.
