WBZ News interviewed SOM faculty member Susan Sampson on December 21, 2007. Sampson discussed slumping sales in the 2007 holiday shopping season. Sampson stated “There isn’t any real must-have fashion at the moment, so people are just buying general things—sweaters and things like that. So, there’s nothing really driving those sales, anything that somebody really has to have.”
