Mary Shapiro, Cynthia Ingols and Stacy Blake-Beard Published in Harvard Business Review
In their letter to the editor, Shapiro, Ingols, and Blake-Beard comment on an article published in the February 2007 issue of Harvard Business Review entitled “Off-Ramp—or Dead End?” The letter makes the case for women who use flexible work arrangements (FWAs) to “reject the outdated ‘work is primary’ model in favor of the ‘career self-agency’ paradigm that fits 21st century realities.” The letter also makes reference to the 2006 survey on FWAs.
