Prof. Maxfield presents to Procter & Gamble in Columbia
On October 24-26, Simmons SOM Associate Professor Sylvia Maxfield visited Bogota, Colombia to address Procter & Gamble staff at a Latin American region-wide meeting on diversity. Her presentation topic was, “Women on the Verge: Corporate Power in Latin America.” Maxfield also moderated a panel discussion on the same topic with three of the most powerful women business leaders in the Andean region of Latin America:
* President of the Board of Directors of Oleoductos de Colombia,
* President of Fiduciaria Bogota
* President of Unissys Latin America.
Maxfield also gave a research seminar on this topic at the University of the Andes Business School in Bogota and celebrated their publication of her book on
Women Business Leaders in Latin America.
