Simmons SOM Deloitte Ellen Gabriel Professor for Women and Leadership, Deborah Kolb, had her article “Don’t Get Trapped: Negotiate the Conditions for Your Success” published in The Women’s News (Korean) on March 31. Her article focuses on the appropriate moves to take when offered a leadership opportunity in a company. Not only should you negotiate the perquisites of the appointment - your title, vacation, and compensation - but also the need to go beyond basics and negotiate for what you would need to succeed in the new role.
