Part-time track option at Simmons SOM featured in Boston Globe
Many women choose leave the workforce for personal reasons. But recent research shows that most of these women plan on returning to the workplace in the near future. The Boston Globe’s May 14 article, “From Mommy Track to Back on Track,” featured colleges that help stay-at-home moms restart their careers. Entering its second year, the Simmons MBA part-time day track program is designed for moms. “It’s important because it’s tailored to the lifestyle of these women and offers them an attractive credential to get back in at an appropriate salary,” says Deborah Merrill-Sands, dean of Simmons SOM.
