Boston Globe article highlights CGO's active bystander trainings
The May 7, 2006 Boston Globe article “Diffusing the workplace’s small wrongs” highlighted the active bystander training convened by the Center for Gender in Organizations (CGO) at Simmons School of Management (SOM) in March. The Globe’s “Balancing Acts” columnist Maggie Jackson, who attended the March training, described the need for and benefit of active bystander trainings. Dr. Stacy Blake-Beard, CGO Research Faculty and Associate Professor at Simmons SOM, and Dr. Maureen Scully, CGO Faculty Affiliate and Assistant Professor in Management at University of Massachusetts-Boston, led the March training.
