Leading Social Entrepreneur and Former Goldman Sachs Managing Director visits SOM
Connie Duckworth, President and Chairman of the Board of Arzu, Inc., retired Partner and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, & Co. and past Chair of the Committee of 200 visited Simmons SOM on April 6 to present to an MBA class. Duckworth was recently featured in Forbes. Duckworth’s Arzu Rugs is a non-profit organization that is empowering Afghan women to contribute to the rebuilding of the private sector in their country. Duckworth presented on the rewards and challenges of building a viable social venture, and how her management and leadership experience was applied to the process.
