Dean Merrill-Sands appears on MyTV PRIME
On November 8, Simmons School of Management Dean Deborah Merrill-Sands was interviewed on MyTV PRIME hosted by Arnie Arnesen. This show is an interactive television program that receives viewer calls and emails for the host and guests during a live broadcast. Merrill-Sands handled a wide-range of questions from viewers surrounding women’s MBA programs and women in the workforce. When asked why a woman would want to enroll in an all-female business school when the upper-level management world is predominantly male, Merrill-Sands told the audience that Simmons SOM teaches leadership skills for women, which are the same skills needed for anyone to be successful in business today, including team-building and flexibility.
MyTV is a brand new television station in New England with close to three million viewers who live in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
