SOM Faculty Member Stacy Blake-Beard Gives Six Presentations in April Focused on Mentoring
SOM Faculty Member Stacy Blake-Beard gave six presentations in April 2008:
1) On April 1, she spoke at an IBM event in Lexington, MA, entitled “Leveraging the Power of Diversity though Mentoring Relationships.
2) On April 2, she delivered “Mentoring: A Recipe for Organizational and Individual Success” for The Conference Board in New York City.
3) On April 4, she spoke at the University of Utah (in Salt Lake City) about “Making the Most of Mentoring.”
4) On April 10 she spoke at the University Of Michigan Alumni event (in Boston) on “The Changing Face of Mentoring in Diverse Organizations, ” where she examined establishing strategic mentoring relationships
5) On April 11, she was part of a panel discussion at the Black Alumnae/I Symposium 2008 event. The event was called “The Power of Our Presence: Past, Present, and Future” and her panel discussion was called “Making a Difference through Volunteering and Mentoring."
6) On April 16, Professor Blake-Beard presented “Diversity as a Catalyst for Effective Mentoring Relationships” at Cambridge Hospital’s Grand Rounds for the Psychiatry Department.
