Directions

The Simmons campus is located on the borders of Boston’s lively Fenway neighborhood and the Longwood Medical area, and is easily accessible by public transportation. The Simmons School of Management building (SOM) is located behind the Main College Building, on the Simmons quad. The street address is 300 The Fenway, Boston MA 02115.

By Public Transportation

MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, or the T)

  1. Take the MBTA green line E train (Heath Street) to the Museum stop. (See www.mbta.com for more information about the T.)
  2. Turn right onto Louis Prang Street. From here you can see Simmons’ green cupola.
  3. Walk past the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on your left. The Main College Building (MCB) of Simmons College will be on your left (300 The Fenway).
  4. Enter through the main door and continue straight to the large common area.
  5. Exit the back of the building on to the quad. The new School of Management & Academic Building is directly across the quad from the back of the MCB.

By Car

From the West (including NYC and CT)

  1. Take Route 90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike) to Exit 22.
  2. Stay left and follow signs marked "Prudential Center/West 9.”
  3. Stay on Huntington Ave. west approximately 1 mile.
  4. Pass the Museum of Fine Arts on right, and then turn right at next light on Louis Prang St.
  5. Continue through two lights. The main building of Simmons will be on left. Turn left on Avenue Louis Pasteur.
  6. You will see the entrance to the Simmons College parking garage on your left in about 50 yards.

From the South

  1. Take I-93 North to Exit 26, “Storrow Drive”, going west.
  2. Follow local directions below.

From the North

  1. Take I-93 South to Exit 26, Storrow Drive west/North Station.
  2. Keep left on exit and follow signs for Storrow Drive west.
  3. Follow local directions below.

From Logan International Airport

  1. Take airport exit following signs for I-93 North.
  2. Go through tolls then into Sumner Tunnel and get in the right lane.
  3. At end of tunnel, take “Route 3 North/Storrow Drive” exit.
  4. Stay right onto Storrow Drive going west.
  5. Follow local directions below.

Local Directions

  1. Look for sign “Kenmore Square, Fenway, Route 1 South” and exit left, following sign for “Fenway 1 South.” Do not take Kenmore Square exit.
  2. Stay right at light, following sign for “Boylston St. Outbound, Riverway 1.”
  3. Get in left lane and proceed to first light.
  4. Turn left onto Park Drive.
  5. Follow Park Drive to lights (gas station on right corner) and cross Boylston Street and Brookline Avenue. Stay left.
  6. At next set of lights, bear left following “Fenway” sign to reverse direction.
  7. At lights, continue straight, crossing Brookline Avenue again. You will be on “The Fenway.” Turn right onto Avenue Louis Pasteur after Emmanuel College.
  8. You will see the entrance to the Simmons College parking garage on your left in about 50 yards.

Parking Information

  1. Enter through the right-most gate and take a white ticket.
  2. Enter the garage and go to the first or second level (P1 or P2) and park.
  3. After you park, you will take the SOM elevators from P1 or P2 to L. This will bring you to a lobby right outside of the first floor lobby of the SOM. You will enter the SOM through the set of doors to the left as you come off of the parking garage elevator.

Please note: Unvalidated visitors and visitors with lost entrance or exit parking coupons will pay a $50 flat fee.

Visitors with a yellow discount parking coupon acquired from the school will pay the following rates:

  • 0 - 2 hours: $3.00
  • 2 - 3.5 hours: $6.00
  • 3.5 - 5 hours: $9.00   
  • Over 5 hours: $12.00   
  • Entry after 5PM and weekends: $6.00
