Sandra Pomerantz
Simmons MBA '06 and Certificate Program '07
Sandra Pomerantz is a graduate of the Simmons MBA and Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship. She is now self-employed as an independent consultant with clients including Partners HealthCare, one of the largest health care industry providers in Massachusetts.
Sandra likes the independence and flexibility of being a consultant while working for a large client in a market defined by rapid changes and new opportunities. The practical aspects of The Entrepreneurship Certificate Program xposed her to the real life challenges of starting a business, including self-examination to determine what type of entrepeneurship would be the right path for her. Designing and writing a business plan made her more confident in her ability to solve any problem--even if the situation was completely new to her.
