The focus on CGO's research, consulting, and speaking is on actual work practice. Our researchers, speakers, and consultants, drawn from our network of renowned faculty affiliates, examine deep cultural assumptions about work and how it gets accomplished and explore the ways gender affects these assumptions. Our work with organizations shows that performance is enhanced by gender equitable workplaces that enable both women and men to be productive contributors. With this dual agenda of enhancing both gender equity and organizational effectiveness as our ultimate goal, we develop recommendations to help individuals and organizations move past cultural assumptions to build internal constituencies and support change efforts.
