Post-Master's Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.) Health Professions Education


Applicants must hold a master's or higher academic degree in a health professions speciality from a regionally accredited U.S. post-secondary institution: an overall G.P.A. of 3.0. in both undergraduate and graduate studies.

Practical experience within the healthcare arena within the past three years.

GRE is not required.

TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language) is required of all applicants whose first language is not English. This requirement is based on language proficiency, not citizenship or residency status. Official scores ,taken within two years prior to the application deadline, must be sent by ETS(Educational Testing Service) directly to SNHS.We are unable to accept student score reports or electronic scores. Allow 4-6 weeks for such official test scores to arrive at SNHS.

No other English language test is acceptable. Scores must be submitted as part of the application in order for admission decision to be made. Required scores: 600(paper based),250(computer based) or 100(internet).

TOEFL is not required if an applicant earned a bachelor's or master's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.
