Digital Stewardship Certificate (Post Master's)
As society's digital heritage continues to grow dramatically, information professionals and repositories of all types often express an acute need for more professionals who can play an effective role in managing digital projects, and in providing the leadership needed to address the many technical and policy challenges involved in managing digital objects and collections.
In general, digital stewardship represents a diverse and evolving set of career paths for information professionals. For this reason, the DSC program is designed to help students acquire the learning capacity needed to adapt to the changing environment of digital heritage, enabling them to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by emerging technologies, new collection types, and new ways to engage audiences online.
