Deland Fellowship Program in Health Care and SocietyBrigham & Women's Hospital The Deland Fellowship begins with an introductory three-month clinical rotation during which the fellows attend rounds, meet patients and families, and learn hospital procedures, Substantial contact with nursing, house staff, care coordination, emergency services, ambulatory care, obstetrics, and other clinical specialties is provided during this period. Fellows then undertake several administrative rotations through key departments to enhance their understanding of operations and other functions. In addition to several department-specific projects relating to these rotations, fellows are required to complete a larger project. Members of senior management serve as preceptors. Qualifications: Candidates are required to have an advanced degree.
