There are a variety of ways to obtain an application fee waiver:
- If you are a current Simmons degree-seeking student or graduate of the Simmons undergraduate college or one of the Simmons graduate schools, you are exempt of paying the application fee, with the exception of the DPT Bridge and DNP Advanced Standing applications.
- If you attend an on-campus School for Health Studies Information Session, a fee waiver form is provided which should be completed and included with your application materials when you apply.
- If you know a Simmons School for Health Studies graduate, that person may recommend you for an application fee waiver by completing a the alumna/I referral form, returning it to you for your submission with your application materials when you apply.
- A Simmons School for Health Studies preceptor for one of your clinical classes, may recommend you for an application fee waiver by completing the alumna/i and preceptor referral form(see below), returning it to you for your submission with your application materials when you apply.
- If the application fee is a financial hardship for you, we will accept a letter from the Office of Financial Aid on letterhead stationery at the college or university you are currently attending which verifies your inability to pay this fee.
- If you are a student of a college or university or employee of an agency or hospital which has an articulation agreement with the School of Health Sciences. Employee of agences or hospitals should contact either their Human Resource Office or Financial Office of their workplace to determine if such an agreement exists.To learn which U.S. undergraduate institutions have agreements with SHS,

IMPORTANT: All appropriate forms must accompany the application; requests cannot be considered if the documentation is received after receipt of the initial application.
