The Simmons DPT program(post-baccalaurete) will be using the APTA PTCAS system,a common application process for students wishing to apply to the class entering in summer 2009. The application deadline is December 1,2008; a Simons supplemental form will be required.Specific details about the Simmons process will be available on this web site this August. The Department of Physical Therapy and its faculty have a national reputation. The U.S. News & World Report has ranked our professional physical therapy program among the top 25 in the country. The core faculty are well known in their areas of clinical specialization, are members of prominent journal editorial boards, are well published authors, and practice at some of the top medical centers in Boston. Their teaching is supplemented by expert clinicians whose professional focus is patient care.

Simmons provides an environment where classes are small, faculty are accessible, and learning is accomplished through collaboration, interaction with peers and hands-on application. Our graduates are recognized for their clinical expertise and are sought out by some of the best facilities in the area. All of our graduates obtain professional positions following their successful completion of the physical therapist licensure examination.
