Health Care Administration

The U.S. health care system will face unprecedented challenges over the next 10 years. Health care spending will approach $3 trillion. An estimated 40 million Americans still may not have health insurance. Advances in medical technology and demands for quality and cost control will call for a new level of leadership in the health care industry.

Simmons' Graduate Program in Health Administration is dedicated to producing the industry's future leaders. In partnership with the National Center for Healthcare Leadership, Simmons HCA is integrating evidence-based, leadership competencies (link to attached PDF document) across the curriculum. The Program also recently completed a comprehensive curriculum revision that features state-of-the-art course content, teaching methods and student assessment techniques. Simmons graduates will not only have the knowledge and skills they need for a successful career, but the leadership competencies necessary for "making a difference" in this dynamic industry.
