P.T. Alum Hired as Physical Therapist for NBA Team

Marc Boff, a 2002 alumnus of the Master's program, has been hired as the physical therapist/strength and conditioning trainer for the New Orleans Hornets. He will be "designing and executing year round conditioning, strength training, core conditioning, flexibility and nutritional programs for the individual players," according to the Hornets' press release. Boff brings eight years of experience as the assistant to the head trainer and to the strength and conditioning coach for the Boston Celtics to the job. In the August first announcement, Executive Chief of Operations Bob Bass said, "We know we made good hires... Marc... will be instrumental in making sure our players and coaches are as well-prepared as possible throughout the season." For more information, see the NBA Hornets website under The Buzz.
