Gloria Cater, M.S., FNP-BC
Director
Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program
Before coming to Simmons College, she was a faculty member in the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Roxbury Community College. Because of her long residence and professional affiliations in the Boston area, Gloria has a keen perspective on issues of health care access and utilization in this city. Her time at RCC further expanded her thoughts about access through the lens of the ever present need for increased diversity in nursing. Gloria has also answered the call to ministry and is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, serving at the historic Charles Street A.M.E. Church in Roxbury, Ma.
