Susan Neary has been a member of the Simmons faculty since 1989, and also serves as the Associate Chair for Graduate Nursing and Coordinator of the DNP Program. She maintains clinical practices in Primary Care at the Neponset Health Center in Dorchester, MA and in the Pre-Admission Screening Unit at the New England Baptist Hospital. Research interests include elder caregiving, resilience, and adjustment of elders to nursing home placement. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, where she is a member of the Region I Leadership Council, the National Conference of Gerontological Nurse Practitioners and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
