Ms. Johnson's areas of interest are clinical education, management, and professional development. She is the Director of Clinical Education for the Physical Therapy program and is an active member of the New England Consortium of Academic Coordinators of Clinical Education. Working with other clinical educators in the region, she has participated in a number of research projects related to clinical education for physical therapy students. Ms. Johnson has presented her research at state and national conferences, as well as through publication. She has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), serving continuously in either elected or appointed positions at both the local and national level for over 25 years. Ms. Johnson brings her expertise in management and experience in the APTA to the curriculum, and encourages and guides students' involvement in the professional association.
