Terry Anne Davies, M.S.N., R.N., B.C.

Ms. Davies joined the faculty in 2004 to teach medical surgical nursing. She practices as a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Room of Boston Medical Center. An expert clinician, she taught part-time in the Simmons undergraduate nursing program for many years before joining the faculty full time.

Ms Davies is the coordinator and advisor for the 18 months Dix Accelerated Nursing Students. She also coordinates Leadership and Management for the undergraduate and accelerated nursing students. She practices as a nurse practitioner is in the Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center at Boston Medical Center. She is a strong advocate for diverse, underserved, vulnerable populations. Ms Davies was awarded the SHS Teacher of the Year in 2005. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and is on the Board serving as secretary. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Ms Davies has published several chapters in recent Primary Care text.
