Residence Campus
Simmons’s residence campus features a traditional New England college quad and nine brick residence halls, six of which were renovated recently. Bartol Dining Hall, the Holmes Sports Center, and the campus health center are also located here. Special-interest housing includes quiet floors, community service floors, and substance-free wellness areas, plus rooms for visitors and commuter students needing the occasional overnight stay.

Bartol Dining Hall serves 1,350 meals a day and was refurbished in 1996.
- South and Dix halls were renovated in 1999.
- Evans and North halls were renovated in 2000.

Arnold Hall was renovated in 2003.
- Smith Hall was renovated into a suite-style residence hall in 2004.
- Quadside Cafe´ and the new mail center were renovated in 2004.
- Morse and Mesick halls will be refurbished next, with Simmons Hall growing from five to nine stories tall in the next five years.
- All first-year students are guaranteed housing.
- 80% of undergraduate students live on campus.
- 68 graduate students live on campus.
- Dining options include vegetarian and kosher options, salad bars, saute´s, smoothies, and more.
- All rooms are wired for high-speed Internet access and cable TV.
- Student multicultural center and new multi-faith center support our diverse community.
