BOSTON (February 11, 2009) — Gwen Ifill, senior correspondent for PBS's The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and managing editor of Washington Week, appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on January 27, 2009.
Promoting her book "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama" (Doubleday, 2008), Ifill discussed the historic campaign of President Barack Obama and the new generation African-American politicians.
