Simmons Alumna Named a Global Business Leader
BOSTON (December 22, 2004) — Ann Fudge, a 1973 Simmons College graduate, has been named one of 25
business leaders in CNN/Time magazine's "2004 Global Business Influentials". Fudge is chairman and CEO
of Young & Rubicam, one of the world's largest advertising and media services firms.
Time editors cited Fudge among the "business leaders who are setting the new standard" in building a
thriving global business. Fudge was also named in the Wall Street Journal's "Top 50 women to watch"
list in November as one of the global women business leaders "who have achieved noteworthy success in
business in the past year, as well as those who are poised to play important roles in business in the years
to come." Fudge also was named in the August Forbes magazine's list of "The World's 100 Most Powerful
Women."
