Daily Gazette, among others.
Chair of International
Relations Zach Abuza has served as a resource for national and international media in
recent weeks. He was referenced in a Feb. 18 National Review Online article. He was quoted in two
International Herald Tribune articles Feb. 26 on "U.S. challenges several Asian countries on human
rights" and "U.S. State Department
rights report give Asia mixed reviews." He was interviewed Feb. 17 on Voice of America about
the start of the Khmer Rouge genocide tribunals in Cambodia, and he was the guest on WBUR's Here &
Now program March 9 talking about the Tamil Tiger fighters and the civil war in Sri Lanka.
Simmons School of Management Professor Sylvia Maxfield was a guest on the National Public Radio program Tell Me More twice during February. In her Feb. 24 interview, she discussed President Obama's economic stimulus plan; in the second, she talked about investors' pessimism of the economic recovery.
