The Financial Times of London ran a large feature story and photos on
the Simmons School of Management on Sept. 1, which interviewed Dean
Deborah Merrill-Sands, Professors Jill Avery and Fiona Wilson, and recent
graduate Cheryl Fudge. Financial
Times is one of the premier international publications geared toward a business audience.
Simmons College was included in a list of
"Great Schools for Education Majors" in a special section with the Princeton Review's 368 Best
Colleges. The only other Massachusetts schools included were Wellesley, Smith, and Northeastern.
Simmons's ranking in U.S.News & World Report as a "best college" was featured in more than 100
newspaper and broadcast outlets nationwide.

Simmons School of Health Sciences Dean Gerry Koocher was interviewed on National Public Radio's All Things Considered Aug. 15 to discuss a dispute within the American
Psychological Association about psychologists' roles in detainee interrogations

was reviewed in the August issue of ScienceNews

Simmons Freshman Libby Collins was
quoted in a Sept. 5 Boston Globe article about the role of
college orientation in building students' spirit and community.
