Simmons College

Kristina Gulick Schaefer was appointed vice president for institutional advancement at Simmons in 1998.  She came to Simmons from Children’s Memorial Medical Center in Chicago, where she was the vice president for development and director of foundation operations.  Before that, Ms. Schaefer was the director of development for Rice University and the campaign director for its James A. Baker Institute for Public Policy.  She also performed annual fund work at Texas Christian University and the University of Vermont.  She is an active member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.  Schaefer holds a B.A. from Allegheny College.
