In your fall 2012 semester, you will enroll in two 2 credit courses: the First Year Seminar (also know as Simmons 101) and the First Year Writing course; In the spring semester of 2013, you will enroll in MCC 102. MCC "involves two central goals that are mutually reinforcing:" to teach critical thinking and writing and to address the challenges and opportunities of living in a multiracial and multicultural society" (Simmons College Course Catalog 2010-2012). All sections use a multidisciplinary approach to their studies.
We ask that you indicate your preference of MCC 102 section now, so that your spring MCC 102 class will have the same students as do your fall FYS and FYW courses. Please review the following section titles and descriptions and then complete the form asking you to indicate your first, second, and third preferences for MCC 102. We will try very hard to place you in one of your preferred section. However, all sections are engaging, interesting and provocative.
Honors students DO NOT complete the survey. The honors advisors will speak with you during your advising meeting about your spring courses
