What do I need to do to start parking on Campus?
Step 1 - Check that you meet the eligibility criteria for the parking product you would like to purchase
Please note that if an employee takes advantage of the College sponsored MBTA pass, parking restrictions apply. Check the eligibility criteria for more details.
Step 2 - Create a parking account
If you do not create a parking account you will not be able to park at Simmons
Choose the product you would like to purchase
- Go to the online parking store for Parking Cash and select Employee Parking Cash — New Account. Or, alternatively, if you would like to pay in cash or check use the pdf form
- Apply on line for Monthly Permit by Payroll Deduction (please note that the monthly pass is deducted one month in arrears)
Step 3 - Wait for the confirmation e-mail that your purchase has been approved by the Campus Card Office
Step 4 - Use your Simmons ID to enter and exit the garage by tapping at the entry and exit gates and proceed immediately to the Palace Road garage

Please remember:
- Please allow 1-2 business days for your online order to be processed
- The Campus Card office does not sell daily parking passes. You need to have a parking account to park on campus
- Misuse of your parking account could result in the loss of your parking privileges
- Read the Simmons parking regulations before proceeding with your purchase
- Use the same Simmons ID to tap in and out of the garage otherwise you will experience problems at the exit gate
MBTA Parkers
Please note that T-Pass holders do not have access to parking on campus Mondays through Thursdays before 4:30pm during the Fall and Spring semesters (except during Winter Break from 12/19/2013 to 1/12/2014 and Spring Break week from 3/10/2014 to 3/14/2014) due to parking shortages at these peak times. Please see dates for each semester listed below:
- Summer 2013: from May 4, 2013 to August 30, 2013
- Fall 2013: from August 31, 2013 to December 18, 2013
- Spring 2014: from December 19, 2013 to May 4, 2014
