The Office of the Dean for Student Life coordinates a comprehensive set of programs and services designed to enhance Simmons College undergraduate and graduate students' educational experiences. The Student Life Division is comprised of the Athletics Department, the Counseling Center, the Health Center, the Health Education Program, the Office of Residence Life, the Office of Student Leadership and Activities, and Spiritual Life.
Information on policies, procedures, and academic and social programs are available through the Office of the Dean for Student Life. The staff in the Dean's office administers the following programs: international student advising, domestic exchange, ALANA student advising, Dix student advising, retention programs, assessment programs, advice on leaves of absence and change of status, parents' council, as well as addressing other matters of interest and concern. The Office of the Dean for Student Life serves as a clearinghouse for student concerns and questions. The staff provides advocacy for students and can assist with referrals to appropriate college resources.
