Meet with an Advisor

To schedule an appointment with an advisor in Undergraduate Advising, please log in to Starfish.simmons.edu or email [email protected] if you cannot find a time that works for you. We look forward to meeting with you soon!

Advising Hybrid Drop-In Hours

There will be no summer 2024 advising drop-in hours. Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment via Starfish to meet with a professional advisor over the summer (May, June, July & August). Fall 2024 drop-in hours will begin the week of September 9th and will be posted by late August.

First-Year Advisors for 2024-2025 Academic Year

First-year students are assigned to a First-Year Advisor to assist them with the transition to college, major exploration, and staying on track with their academics during their first year at Simmons. First-Year Advisors are a mix of passionate faculty and professional advisors who are trained on PLAN general education requirements, aware of campus resources, and are well-versed on all majors, minors, and programs offered at Simmons. First-year students receive an email from their First-Year Advisor before
June Orientation.

Honors Advisors

First-year students enrolled in the Honors program will be assigned to a PLAN Advisor who is well-versed on the Honors-specific curriculum. First-year students enrolled in both the Honors program and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences will be assigned a PLAN Advisor who is also well-versed on specific SNHS program requirements.
