Professor Shari Robinson-Lynk shared some tips for self-care.
LIMIT YOUR TIME ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Staying up-to-date via social media may be temping, but consider limiting your time on Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts.
While you may be busy with internships, jobs and other life responsibilities, managing your time is probably your best bet to limit your stress.
SLEEP — AND EAT!
Do whatever you can to get enough sleep and eat healthy, well-balanced meals and snacks. New England winter sluggishness can be exacerbated when you don't get adequate sleep or nutrition.
Try soaking in a bath, taking a long shower, doing some yoga, journaling and other mindfulness exercises.
Fit in some exercise — like walking, swimming and biking — and make time for pleasure reading and enjoying your favorite television shows and music.
