SSW Faculty Present Research at National Conference

Our faculty members presented at the Society for Social Work Research Annual Conference.

Simmons faculty members Dr. Jennifer Putney, Dr. Kim O'Brien, Dr. David Robinson, and Associate Dean Suzanne Sankar presented a roundtable discussion at The Society for Social Work Research Annual Conference. The SSWR Annual Conference, held in Washington D. C. on January 15, 2016, is a venue for promoting the scientific exchange, advancement, and connection of social work researchers at all career levels. Their presentation, titled, Evaluating Change in Social Work Students’ Skills, Attitudes and Values Related to Inter-professional Collaboration within Integrated Care Settings, focused on the experiences of Simmons MSW students in the school’s HRSA funded Behavioral Health Workforce Initiative (BHWI).

Faculty members Dr. Abbie Frost, Dr. Tamara Cadet, Dr. Hugo Kamya, and Dr. Kristie Thomas also presented at SSWR.
